National Advisory Council on Migrant Health (NACMH) Recommendations - 2007

Dear Ms. Watt:

Thank you for your letter and recommendations from the National
Advisory Council on Migrant Health, (Council). As we celebrate
the 45th anniversary of migrant health programs, I want to thank
the Council for the work they do an behalf of migrant and
seasonal farmworkers (MSFWs) and their families.

The health and well-being of migrant farmworkers and their
families is important to me and this Administration. Please be
assured that your recommendations will receive careful review
within the Department.

I appreciate your leadership and the continued commitment of the
Council to improving the health of farmworkers and their
families. This response will also be provided to Dr. John
McFarland, Vice-Chair of the Council.
