Erie Family Health Center, a large health center in Chicago, Illinois, has excelled in achieving and maintaining high rates of early prenatal care entry. Erie’s prenatal care entry rates are well above state and national averages for federally qualified health centers (FQHCs); it has already surpassed the Healthy People 2020 goal that 77.9% of pregnant women will receive prenatal care beginning in the first trimester.
