Overview

The fiscal year (FY) 2021 American Rescue Plan – Funding for Look-Alikes (ARP-LAL) NOFO (HRSA-21-115) enables Health Center Program LALs designated as of April 1, 2021, to apply for one-time funding to respond to and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and to enhance health care services and infrastructure.

Eligible Applicants

Only Health Center Program LALs designated as of April 1, 2021 are eligible to apply for ARP-LAL funding. See the list of eligible LAL applicants and refer to the eligibility section of the ARP-LAL NOFO for more information.

Funding

HRSA will award up to $145 million in one-time grant funding through APR-LAL. LALs may apply for a ceiling amount based on the following formula:

  • Base value of $500,000, plus
  • $125 per patient reported in the 2019 Uniform Data System (UDS), plus
  • $250 per uninsured patient reported in the 2019 UDS.

The maximum application amount is included in the list of eligible LALs. Additionally, each eligible LAL received an email including their maximum application amount.

Submit your ARP-LAL application via Grants.gov by 11:59 pm ET on May 14, 2021.
