Develops and delivers presentations to project team and partners; develops and implements a quality improvement plan; assesses data infrastructure and security; analyzes EHR data; conducts focus groups, interviews, and surveys with patients and health center staff, and delivers written and oral reports. YZ University, School of Dentistry Contract

YZ University will provide ongoing support to strengthen service delivery and expand workforce capacity to effectively care for patients with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs).

They will:

  • Deliver clinical training to health center staff to better meet the dental health needs of children with NDDs. The trainings will focus on new technologies and equipment used in treating children with NDDs, specialized skills such as behavioral management techniques, creation of sensory-friendly dental operatories, and workforce or facility-related enhancements, and
  • Help identify additional trainings and certifications necessary for our health center staff, including advanced certifications for our dental staff.

Utilize our health center site as a clinical rotation site and training hub for dental students.

In-person and virtual (live and recorded) training sessions and workshops for health center staff, and ongoing support to project staff.

September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2028
The NDD Network Contract Provides subject matter expertise that will help our project team identify patient and caregiver unmet needs; increase trust and buy-in; bridge gaps between our health center, the population of focus, and organizations that serve them; and collaborate with us to ensure our activities continue to be appropriate to meet the dental health needs of children with NDDs. In-person and virtual consultations with key project leads and health center staff, and support for staff trainings and project evaluation activities. September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2028
