Join the UTC and attend the July UDS Test Cooperative meeting

We will provide technical assistance (TA) information for awardees during the July UDS Test Cooperative (UTC) meeting:

If you still need to become a UTC member, you must register to receive the login information for the TA meeting. Even if you cannot attend the July meeting, joining the UTC will allow you to stay updated and participate in future sessions. Get key award details

We awarded $56 million in total funding to all Health Center Program operational grant (H80) award recipients in June 2024.

Our funding will support health centers in preparing and implementing programs and technologies to ensure high-quality, patient-level data submission as part of the modernization of the UDS+.

You can:  

  • Support UDS+ implementation. Train personnel, purchase new equipment, build systems infrastructure capacity, enhance care coordination, secure data exchange, and de-identify patient-level data. 
  • Cover costs to align or upgrade health information technology (HIT) systems with national interoperability standards. 
  • Support, train and offer technical assistance to your staff overseeing data management or security and quality improvement efforts.
  • Improve data and technology capabilities to support public health emergency preparedness.

What is UDS+?

UDS+ is the electronic submission of de-identified patient-level data from health centers to us through automated reporting platforms. 

Automating UDS reporting will eventually eliminate the need for you to dedicate the resources required to manually enter UDS data into the HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs). Such automation simultaneously allows you to submit more granular, specific data about your patient population. 

These more detailed, de-identified patient-level data will be critical to advancing the Health Center Program's quality improvement and health outcomes. They can help us tailor efforts to address health disparities and improve patient care.
