- From the Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) home page, click on the Grants tab.
- On the My Grant Portfolio - List page, just below the page title, click the Add Grant To Portfolio button.
- On the Add Grant To Portfolio page, select one of the following roles and follow the specific instructions.
- Select Register as Project Director (PD) on the Add Grant To Portfolio page: The Project Director is the individual, designated by your organization, who is responsible for the day-to-day programmatic aspects of the award.
- Click Continue.
- On the Register as Project Director – Select Grant page, locate the award and click Register link.
- On the following page, enter the requested Notice of Award (NoA) Issue Date and CRS-EIN information. In the latest NoA, the Issue Date is in the upper right hand corner (where it says Federal Award Date) and enter the Payment System Identifier (#3 under Recipient Information) as the CRS-EIN.
- Select your Financial Report Access level. There are two options: View Financial Report and Edit Financial Report.
- Click on the Certification box and select Save And Continue.
- The next page confirms the successful Project Director registration and adds the award to your portfolio.
- Select Register as Financial Reporting Administrator (FRA) on the Add Grant to Portfolio page: This is the individual, designated by your organization, who is responsible for financial reporting for the award.
- Click Continue.
- On the Register as Financial Administrator – Select Organization page, click Register link.
- On the Register as Financial Administrator – Verify Authorizing Official (AO) Identity page, enter the Account Number and PIN from PMS.
- Click on the Certification box and select Save And Continue.
- Success banner should appear confirming the successful registration as the Financial Reporting Administrator and adding the award to your portfolio.
- Select Request Grant Access (I support grant reporting): Includes individuals from the organization, other than the PD or FRA, who will need access to financial or non-financial submissions for the award.
- Click Continue.
- In the Request Grant Access – Select Grants page, click Request Access for the award.
- On the Grant Access Request page, enter a comment for why you are requesting access. Select requested privileges under the options in the Financial Privileges and/or Other Grant Privileges section. Then click Request Access.
- The Grant Access Request Results page confirms the request was sent to the award Project Director as a task to review and approve. Once approved, you will receive applicable system access and privileges.
- Select Register as Project Director (PD) on the Add Grant To Portfolio page: The Project Director is the individual, designated by your organization, who is responsible for the day-to-day programmatic aspects of the award.
- If you have more than one award, you will have to repeat these steps to add each separate award (e.g., H8F, HQC, U5F, U3F, L2C) to your EHBs portfolio.
