Biden-Harris Administration Awards Nearly $9 Million to Improve Access to Cancer Screening and Connections to Follow-up Treatment in Underserved Communities to Deliver on Biden Cancer Moonshot Goals (8/7/24)

Access resources for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Accelerating Cancer Screening (AxCS) award recipients.

We issued three award rounds for those who applied to the FY22 AxCS Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), HRSA-22-154.  

In September 2022, we awarded over $5 million to 11 health centers. 

We gave additional funding in:

  • FY23 to make 22 more awards. See FY 2023 AxCS Awards.
  • FY24 to make 18 more awards. See the following table.

Total awards: $8,991,059 to support 18 health centers.
