Ending the HIV Epidemic-Primary Care HIV Prevention (PCHP) funding expands access to HIV prevention services that decrease the risk of HIV transmission in underserved communities in support of Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.

Summary

Award recipients will use funds to increase the:

  • Number of patients counseled and tested for HIV
  • Number of patients prescribed pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
  • Percentage of patients newly diagnosed with HIV who are linked to care and treatment within 30 days of diagnosis

  • Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.: Summarizes our involvement in the initiative to end HIV in the U.S. and features related federal resources and TA tools. 
  • HIV, Hepatitis, and Health Centers: Summarizes our work to integrate HIV and viral hepatitis testing, prevention, and treatment into other primary care and enabling services. Provides integration resources, TA, and promising practices for health centers we support.
  • Ready, Set, PrEP: Summarizes a nationwide program that provides PrEP at no cost to qualifying individuals. Provides communications resources available for download and distribution.
  • Training and Technical Assistance Resources for PCHP Awardees: Address the top TA areas requested in the FY 2021 PCHP applications.
