About the Budget Period Progress Report (BPR)

The Budget Period Progress Report (BPR) non-competing continuation provides an update on the progress of Health Center Program award recipients. The BPR is completed by award recipients who do not have a project period end date in FY 2018 (October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018).

How to Apply

Award recipients will receive an email notification from the HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHB) when the BPR is available for input and submission. See the table above for details regarding access and deadline dates. If you do not receive an expected email regarding BPR access, contact the BPR Response Team  (select either Applicant or BPHC Grantee, Application/Progress Report: Instructions, BPR) for assistance.

Reporting Your Budget Period Progress

The BPR provides an annual progress report on a health center’s performance, as well as a status update on recent supplemental funding.  The Project Narrative Update section of the BPR must address the following:

  1. Progress and changes that have impacted the community/target population and award recipient organization from the beginning of the FY 2017 budget period until the date of BPR submission;
  2. Expected progress for the remainder of the FY 2017 budget period; and
  3. Projected plans for the FY 2018 budget period.
